Of Seeking, Finding, and Grounding

Hi, I'm Veronika!

The first time I sat at a pottery wheel was in December 2021.

What began as curiosity slowly grew into something much bigger, although the path there was anything but straightforward.

After years of working in both manual trades and commercial office roles, as well as spending extended time traveling, I found something in working with clay that feels grounding and deeply calming.

For me, ceramics is more than a craft –
it's a practice that demands patience and presence.

Clay cannot be rushed. It reflects the care and thought we bring to it, which is why creating with intention is so essential. Working with clay reminds me, time and again, to stay present and focused.

My Vision

Creativity and a deep connection to nature have been with me since childhood, which is why working with ceramics doesn’t feel like a new direction but rather a natural extension of what has always been there.

My studio is based in the quiet surroundings of my family’s farm. Memories from my travels and time spent in different places come together with the familiarity of home and everyday life in my work.

This balance between movement and rootedness is reflected in organic forms, a natural color palette, and a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic.

In my work, functionality and beauty are closely connected. My pieces are designed for everyday use, created to be part of your everyday rituals — an invitation to slow down and notice the beauty in the ordinary.
